Yuzu
The yuzu is a citrus fruit native to Korea and Japan where it is very popular and holds a special place in gastronomy.
Its flavour is acidic but sweeter than that of a lemon. It is known for its very high price, but a small yuzu can actually last quite a long time because a tiny amount is enough to season a dish.
Considered a medicinal product in Japan, it is very rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants (flavonoids, limonoids, carotenoids, etc.).
According to studies, it may help fight certain diseases such as cancer.
